This Friday: Miracle Sweepstakes at Bowery Electric
Plus new music from Hit on the horizon
Happy New Year everyone,
The first Miracle Sweepstakes show of 2k24 is this Friday in Manhattan at Bowery Electric (327 Bowery, NY, NY 10003). It’s an album release show for Otis Infrastructure, and we’ll also be playing with Leeroy and Club Duvet. In addition to a few numbers from our recently released/now ancient album Last Licks, we may play a new song, depending on how tomorrow’s practice goes. I have tentatively titled it “Axeman’s Delight” (IYKYK..) $15 cover, 21+, we’re on first, potentially as early as 7 PM sharp, so get there early. I have also heard whispers of an exclusive afterparty…
Also, as I mentioned in the first 1WT newsletter, there’s a new Hit single due out next month called “Nu Jangle.” It’ll feature an accompanying quasi-animated music video I made, starring bowhunter Ted Nujangle and a cast of woodland critters. More on this release soon…
That’s not the only 1WT video on the calendar. We just wrapped up editing the Miracle Sweepstakes “Bad Bee” music video, which should be out in late March. Longtime subscribers will recall the members only teaser clip from the last newsletter. To any viewers who may have been concerned about how grey it looked, rest assured that a highly seasoned professional (me) fixed the color balance. And if ya don’t like it? Well:
