A belated shows recap

Sup everyone,

Didn’t get around to posting anything from the shows the other weekend (it’s called having a life 🙄) but between the two of ‘em there were new songs galore.

The first was Ian and I doing a Miracle Sweepstakes duo set at 18th Ward. We played a few oldies but debuted a couple new ones. No footage to share, so here’s a 1WT newsletter exclusive, a rough demo I made of one of those new ones called “Dunno Why.” Sloppy drumming and bass playing courtesy yours truly...

The next night, Hit played the Cobra Club, and also debuted some new material. Here’s a snippet of one called “Doomsdays,” which we almost didn’t play since we barely finished writing it:

This one’s tentatively called “Some New Thing,” but the band knows it as “Ride the Lightning 3”:

And hey fuck it, here’s an “old” new one which Cameron, Charles and I first debuted at the Stone Circle Theatre show, now with Justin for the full effect. It doesn’t really have a title yet (maybe “APL”), and is known as “Ride the Lightning 2”:

For some even older new ones, stay tuned. All shall be revealed…
