Sup everybody,
Got a couple shows this weekend, one per band. The first is a Miracle Sweepstakes show Ian and I are playing as a duo at 18th Ward Brewing (300 Richardson St.) on Saturday (4/27) with Imaginary Tricks. Doors are at 7:30, $10 cover (tix here), and we’re on first I think. The last time Ian and I played a duo show, we switched instruments:
We’re probably not gonna do that this time, but we will be testing out a few new songs and dusting off some oldies. Whispers of a potential extended noise jam. It’ll be fun and #rare.
And then on Sunday (4/28), Hit is playing what I think is our first show of the year with the full quartet. That’s right folks, Justin’s back. It’s at Cobra Club (6 Wyckoff Ave) with Kissy Noises, Castrated Caligula, and Web Hex. 8 PM doors, $10-15 sliding scale, I think we’re also on first. We’ll be playing a bunch of new songs— an all 12-string set, in fact, which is a Hit First.
In May, Ian’s going to Spain and Charles is going to Colombia, so one would be remiss not to catch these shows. You’d have to wait at least like three whole weeks to see another. And for anyone who attends both— I will award you a special One Weird Trick prize (TBD)…
Keep Poundin’,
Craig
