Hit matinees, new MS demo

Sup everybody,

Hit has a couple outdoor daytime shows in the next couple weeks. The first one is July 27th at 18th Ward Brewing (300 Richardson St in East Williamsburg) as part of the New Colossus Summer Saturdays series. We play with Sue Your Landlord, Ava Raiin, Kira Skye and Minaxi. Starts at noon, though we’re on first around 1:30ish. This one’s all ages.

Then the following Saturday, August 3rd, we’re playing Mama Tried (787 3rd Ave in Sunset Park) with Hizz and Egg Cream. Starts at 4, I think it’s also free. Hizz ‘n Hit..

Lastly, here’s a rough demo I made this past week of a Miracle Sweepstakes song called “Sinusoid.” I originally wrote it in 2017, I think I wasn’t interested in it at the time because there’s so many parts, and I was trying to write songs that were more straightforward. But I always thought the main verse and chorus ideas were cool, and on the first listen in a while, I thought everything else was cool too, so I kept it as is.

Sloppy drums/bass etc are my own and do not reflect the views and abilities of the group. The guitar solo is cool though, I would hang the band’s hat on that at least.
