February 23rd: Hit "Nu Jangle" release show

Plus a teaser for the song's video

As I mentioned a couple newsletters ago, there’s a new single from Hit due out next month. It’s called “Nu Jangle,” and it comes out February 23rd with a quasi-animated music video I made. The video chronicles bowhunter Ted Nujangle as he encounters a cast of critters, and reckons with the consequences of his actions. It is a tale of both redemption and revenge. Below is an *exclusive* first look:

We’ll also be playing a release show the night of the 23rd at Stone Circle Theatre (59-14 70th Ave) in Ridgewood with Babas and Jackie Simons, where we’re also (I think) premiering the video. This show is ALL AGES, a rarity in NYC these days. I would say if you were ever going to check out a Hit show, this would be a good one. Not only is it Hit playing in a church, but it’s my birthday. You can get advance tickets HERE. The show starts around 7 and wraps up by 10, and there are whispers of an afterparty…

Hope to see you at the show. More MS news soon as well, but that’s all I got for now. I looked into making a pre-save link for this, even though I’ve never pre-saved anything and probably never will. But after thinking long and hard (and learning it would cost money from a shady-looking third party link host) I’ve decided it’s not something I need to do.
